Rain Water Collection


The Oatey Mystic Rainwater collection system works great.  I found it best to have a large container, such as an IBC tote, though.  If you search online you may be able to find one in your local area pretty cheap.  Just make sure it is food grade and did not contain any chemicals.  Mine had organic honey and it wasn't too bad to wash out.  

The collapsible rain barrel linked below will work too, for a temporary system.  I have used a 50 gallon the last two years and it is still holding up, but it will eventually wear out.  There are permanent rain barrels you can buy, but I do not have any experience with these.
